Your fid is healthy and happy which of course should delight you but you now become paranoid with fear that you will now become sickly and weak and it causes you to be fearful and afraid to enjoy life yourself for fear of "catching" something.
I wish roses bloomed all year round.
Regurgitation as Judy says is a sign of affection. Congratulations, your new grey is very happy and comfortable in her new forever home. If you have any pictures, we would love to see them. Karma to you for taking in an older grey. Welcome to the family.
How about calling an avian vet in another country and asking for help over the telephone? Or if there is no help available, looking on the internet for information on seizures in birds. This of course is the action of desperation and last resort. Good luck, I hope you are able to help your sweet grey.
Things are looking good Bernie!!!! How many men can say they have this many women cheering them on!!!!! So get the job done now!!!! Go, Bernie, Go Bernie!!!
Great review of "The Final Solution" kcfoxie. I was disappointed as I love mysteries but this was not my cup of tea. As kcfoxie said this is a book for children. My 9-year-old grandson is an avid reader and I know he will really enjoy this novelette.
Oh the tales I could tell about my younger days and the Highway Patrol. :silly: Such fond memories. Great job Jill!!!!! Very proud of your resourcefulness!!!!
Petrea, what a fantastic ending to this thread. I am so very happy that Einstein found your daughter and that you and your family worked so very hard to find Einstein's family. You are a friend that is always welcome here with or without a grey though I believe you might find one of your own very soon. Karma to you! I look forward to hearing from you again!
Is Yoshi eating fine and pooping and interacting with the family? My gray is a rather quiet grey and just likes to be with me. She has always been quiet but loves to chew on her toys and play with them. She started talking at about 10 months. What I am saying is although she is a quiet bird she is a busy fid. Without seeing your grey it is hard to give advice. If you are concerned about your grey, I would seek the advice of an avian vet to be on the safe side.

Post edited by: luvparrots, at: 2009/09/09 01:12
