Hi, just to think that you wanted a grey for over 10 yrs and now you going to get one, i wish you all the best with your grey. Keep us updated as to when I also wanted a grey for years and then when i walked pass a petshop i saw a baby jardine (pepe) and i bought it but in my heart i still wanted a grey. When i received charlie at 5months old i could not believe it. i live for that bird but still pepe is my first and he will always be treat no1 but charlie i just luv him to bits. {Feel-good-0002006E}

Hi, do not give up as some birds take longer than others to talk, my charlie is now 10 months and he is starting to talk now (i am canning myself when he speaks cause it sounds to nice, i want to eat him up)

I am glad you have sweetpea and the two of you will bond. It must be strange for him to see that he is in another home with another mommy but good luck to the two of you. As you say this is a great forum and we all learn from one another. My boykie is now 10 months but i will do anything for him. He is so spoiled but i dont mind. Goodluck

Jen, i am sorry to read about your loss, I am also new but want to wish you all the best. I am sure that you gave him all the best and one day you will meet again. To me it is so heartbroken to read of all our animals that passed away. i also had two dogs put down due to cancer and still I am crying for them. My grey is now 10 months old and i dont know what i will do if anything must happen to him/her.
