Is it ok if grey eats night crawlers? He accidently got a part of one, so far no side affects. Would this be ok to give him every couple of days?

I have a grey, have had him for 2and a half years, Pogo he is great. But have been thinking of getting another bird (not sure what at this time) but have heard with 2 or more birds they don't talk as much to humans, that they will communicate more between them selves. I don't want that to happen. Any comments??? Thank you

Since I got Pogo everyday before I leave for work, I tell Pogo Mommy has to go to work to make money so she can buy toys. The other day he said ok bye bye. A month ago we got a chihuahua puppy, and in a week Pogo learned to say stop it chico (puppy) stop it!! He is always coming up with something new. I love it and Him.

We recently made a local move. I was worried about Pogo, how he would react to new surroundings. Its been 6 weeks now since the move and the only thing he did was poop in his water and food nonstop for 1 week. I had my fingers crossed that he wouldn't pluck feathers. So i think its safe to say we have adjusted. Just wanted to let everyone know Pogo is doing fine and learning new stuff daily. He is such a joy can't imagine my life without him.

Hi, I'm no expert but I think he will come out of cage when he is sure its safe. He has to feel safe and secure. When I have company mine won't always come out. It just depends if he feels like it. They have a mind of there own. Have you tried coaxing him out with his favorite treat? I'm sure someone with more knowledge will come along and help you. Good Luck

Try eating the veggies in front of him and really making a big deal over them (smack and say how good and so on) sounds crazy but it worked for my grey (Pogo)Now there isn't much he won't eat. Good luck
