I figure that i have had Tilly for about 6 months so it would be a good time to finally post a pictures. We have built a good bond but are still working on Biting me, but hopefully she will get better.

Bird Paradise Love that store, it is the largest all bird store on the east coast, and i think that all of there toys are really cheap. Even if you cant find something online and you call them, they will dig through the store till they find it for you and ship it out to you. www.birdparadise.biz

I got bit last week really good. She got a hold of my index finger and did a sawing motion. it peeled the skin of my finger like u peel a potato, and yea it really hurt and was bleeding pretty good to. nice inch long gash.

yea she only shakes in the breast area, you just see her feathers move. And she only bites me when she is out of her cage. She will be sitting on my lap just having fun, then has a mood swing and bites really hard.

She was at the vet about a month ago and got the all clear, cause she is ghaving some issues flying

but back to the whole egg thing. If i keep her alone, will i ever need to woory about her lying an egg. her becoming egg bound really scares me?

When i rescued my bird they said they think she is a female but has never even made an attempted at an egg, does this mean she is a male, or at the age of 4 just not mature? I only ask because i know some one who wants to give up his bird a male that is six months old and i really on have room for one cage, so i would like to see if they would get along, and not fight, but i dont want any little babies, or even the chance of mine becoming egg bound or any thing. If both birds get along really well, and my self and soon to be wife spend alot of time with them are there any drawbacks to having them in the same cage.

So i have had my bird for about 6 months now, but this week she has just had a bad attitude. monday i har her sitting on my leg when she got a hold of my finger and took out a huge chunk out of it. and since then has bin really bad. When she bit me i didn't jump or say anything, just as soon as she let go i picked her up and put her on her cage. Since then i can't even pick her up, she is always snapping at me. Also could her being afraid of something have to dfo with her always shaking? The only thing i can think of is a few weeks ago i set up a new cage for herand put it in the other room. it is 36x24 and aboput 5 feet high. well after i put some toys in it, i just left it there and she went over and climed right on in and started playing. so i took the little cage she came in away. it was only 24x22 and like 4 feet tall. there really any room for any toys. She was good for a few weeks then this whole bad attitude happened any ideas?

i have two bowls on one side of the cage, one is for her pellet diet and the other is fresh fruit and nut mix. then on the otherside of the cage is her water bowl.

Also how hard is it for my bird to learn to use one of those water bottle type things?

should i have a perch that runs from onside of the cage to the other, that is how she gets acrossed to place the food in the water, would it be bad to take out that perch, and once the food is wet she won't eat it.

I used to have to change my CAG's water two maybe three times a day, well now i have to change it around 10 times. the minute i walk away she starts to catty her food across her perch and place it in the water, i dont change it right away, because i don't want her to think she is playing a game but in about 30 minutes later i change it. what can i do to stop her, should i move her middle perch so she has to climb her cage to get from one side to another instead of just walking acrossed. Any help would be great.
