I don't think Pogo likes being covered at night.
The breeder never covered him. So I have just been covering half the cage (1side and 1end)open side and end are close to night light, but it sure takes him awhile to settle down (20 min.) is this normal?
I want to be sure he is getting his sleep.
Welcome ccgreen 1994
Sorry I can't be of any help, for I am new to having a grey I just got Pogo this weekend. But I'm sure other members with more knowledge will be glad to help.
Again welcome.
Yes I offered him one up close he still shook head no.
Then a few hours later I offered him another peanut and he took it. I guess they are alot like us we want what we want when we want it.
He/She is starting to relax (i think) eating good!!! Green bell pepper from my Dads garden and is beginning to play with some toys. Not making much noise though.
Earlier when practicing step up I asked if he/she wanted a peanut he/she shook head no. I thought it was an accident so I asked two more times and he/she did same thing. Hope I can handle this when pogo is older.
Here is a couple pics of Pogo (I hope)

I too have changed my cook ware to stainless
Have question about crockpot Its not coated with any thing (teflon). So is it safe to use? Want to be sure
better safe then sorry.
Also if a person runs air purifier wouldn't that take all or most bad out of air?
I'm getting pogo labor day weekend and planning on running small air purifier in room with cage and big purifier for the rest of apartment.
Would that be ok?
I got some aloe vera juice at walmart but its not 100% it is 99.8% aloe. Is it ok to use? I want to be sure its safe before i use it. I have a real aloe plant so I'm covered that way.
