  3. What should i bath Noah with ? Spray him with regular warm water or something else is better ? I heard about spraying with aloe vera , is that good to use or the first option is best ? He is almost 4 months old and this will be his first bath so i want it to be a good experience for him. Zahra
  4. My CAG is most of the times very quiet, he is almost 4 months old we got him when he was 3 months. Its funny people complain about their AG talking too much im hoping he will talk more.. Zahra
  5. Julie focus on the positive things in your parrot you say he have a great personaliy and can even speak and mimic alot, i mean many have african grey that never talk so look at the positive things and try to work on his noise by ignoring it and seek help from and expert please, this forum doesnt provide profesional help so it should never be your last hope! contact a parrot behaviorist. Your parrot loves you and will have a hard time to move to another owner and if you have had him for that long dont solve his problem he might end in a shelter because no one wants to adopt a parrot with behavior problem. he will end from owner to owner. Zahra
  6. special thanks to kittykitty since i havent answerd your email will do that as soon as i get a chance glad you are not ignoring me here

Im asking because i gonna be out of town this weekend to see my dad in law for first time here in USA i met him only once back in my country Denmark. Thanks Zahra

  13. I'm very sorry i didnt mean i was unsure about if he was weaned or not thats easy to see i was more concerned if he was weaned TOO Early ? What is the appropiate age for weaning CAF? Zahra
  14. Noah was on my shoulder yesterday and then he was playing with my new gold neclace and bit it apart it didnt take him more than few second to destroy it But i didnt get mad at him He is very gentle and sweet. How do you know when african greys are irritated ? i mean ofcourse if a parrot moves away you know it means dont come close to me. but is there other behavior that is normally hard to see for people that indicates they are mad or irritated? Zahra
  15. I wish i could do the same kitty the thing we only have one bedroom which our cat doesnt have acces to due to my husbands allergy, so cat and parrot are both in living room. But we are keeping a close eye on our cat so i think it will be okay
  16. I just got my CAG, the breeder i got it from is specialized in only African Greys and told me that the one i got is fully weaned, He is about 3 months old Im afraid that he is weaned to0 early, should i be worried or not? He looks very happy and healthy very good temperd parrot never bit us even though he is very nervous and its his first day here. he let us touch him etc.. Thanks Zahra
  17. I finely got the CAG he is 3 months old very gentle and nice he let us pet him but looks nervous and uncomfortable but never bit us, i think he just need time to get used to us We named him Noah. Do you let your cat be near the cage ? we are very unsure about how to deal with our cat he is very curious about our new baby parrot and we are very afraid that he will harm him. I will post pictures of Noah as soon as i can Zahra

  21. My cat follows me and my husband everywhere we go, i never had a cat before in my life so i dont know if thats normal, i dont have a problem with it i actually like it but just wondering Sometimes he keeps himself awake to follow me its cute, my husband gets irritated of him sometimes because of that. I got him from SPCA when he was only 4 months old, He means alot to me i never knew you can have this kind of connection to an animal, i had before reptiles but they are not so much attached to you. They like you in a different way.
  22. Good luck with finding the right breeder
