hi josh and welcome. not got my grey either getting him in july, been researching since last june:blink: there is lots to learn and here everyone is so friendly with lots of helpful advice on everything you can think of to do with greys. can't wait to see photos of your grey when you get him/her. good luck with your search i know it's easy finding a breeder, i have got to have mine from a pet shop as i cant find any breeders, he will be hand reared and fed and will about 15 weeks when i get him.I just know how excited you are because i can hardly contain mine {Feel-good-00020069}
-
hi guys as you all know i dont get my baby until july and by that time he will be around 15weeks, the pet shop owner said he will be fully weaned then, is this right at his age? as i dont want to bring home an unweaned baby, i dont know anything about hand feeding:unsure: she did say she does'nt let them out of her shop until weaned and she once had one that took 26weeks!!

hi kerry welcome to the flock, i to am getting a grey but have been researching them for 12months and get mine in july , you really should take time and ask lots and lots of question on here, they really are great and will answer anything and everything.I think you will have your eyes opened about how much care AND attention they need, I certainly did but it's not put me off 1 tiny bit and im sure which ever birdy you choose (or are chosen by) you will make a great mom;)
-
OMG!! how lucky is she that you were home, poor thing, how is she?and how are you? you must have as terrified as liath:unsure: hope she wasnt affraid to go back in her cage and how lovley that all she wanted after was to know she was safe in your arms for cuddles.

Hi and welcome GandalfTheGrey. I am just doing what you have done (the reading and reaserching since last june)before I have my baby in July. I dont think im even half prepared for what lies ahead but I want more than anything to do my best for my bird, I joined here a few months ago and everyone is so helpfull and friendly and there is and answer to any question you can think of. so welcome to the flock, and would love to see any pictures you have of you and Gandalph(love the name by the way ) -
