my little Evolet doesnt like to play much it seems. She will kinda chew on some things but mostly she is just trying to be with me. She just likes to sit on my shoulder. She really doesnt move around much. I will try these things with her and see if there is any change in her behavior.

Yes hyacinths are quite large. I dont know why guys like them so much. I think kirk looks at the green wing where our baby is with more love than he looks at me.:laugh: i am scared of them. Im not good at dealing with pain. i couldnt keep my calm if a macaw locked down on me. But if its what he wants...:woohoo:

wow! if only i was so lucky to have something so nice happen to me. Im looking for one for my fiance. i was hoping to maybe find one by our wedding so i could give it to him as a surprise on our wedding day. he would absolutely fall over with happiness. I live in Indiana. He says that she has papers. Dont know what that means. She has a microchip too. Im getting more uneasy about it the more we all talk.:blink: :sick: :unsure:

Wow! your right it does sound like a scam now. He said that she would be coming from Europe. He was moving and that she couldnt go with him. He wanted us to send him pics of her living with us and stuff. Is the price more right if she's coming from Europe? I have no idea on these things. thanks for all your help!

I have come across an individual named freddy sakila who is willing to let me have his hyacinth macaw for only the shipping. The shipping is like 1,000. i dont know how to tell if this is a scam or not. has anyone heard of this guys name used in scams? does anyone have any suggestions?

My little baby isnt home yet but as we come to see her she loves to come up on our chests and attempt to be one with our necks. I thinks its the most adorable thing ever! I have to resist the erg to squeeze her!:woohoo:

wow i had no clue about the vinegar. that kills bacteria and everything? my caique loves to aim his little tail at things. Its EVERYWHERE:silly: :blink: :woohoo:

The less fragrant part sounds nice. I was hoping to be able to use it in the cage and for some of the non-porous toys. The regular avian disinfecant that i found seems to be too much for me to buy right now. Stupid college student budget!:silly: :laugh:

yes! i am absolutely about to get arrested for stalking or something cause when im up there i dont leave the poor store clerks alone. im always asking questions and asking how much she weighs, how much she eats, when i can bring her home. :silly: :woohoo: :blush: I just absolutely cant wait. She falls asleep on me a lot when im there. Sometimes when she sleeps she looks dead cause she gets into these really wierd positions. She tries to get her head back behind her wing, i think, but it never really makes it that far.just kinda bent back and looks like she's broken it in about 7 different places. :laugh: im running out of things to do to get ready for her to come home. Im gonna go crazy when i do actually run out of things!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Enthralled. yes that sounds about right. Kirk says that he thinks i love her more than i love him. He's just joking though. She's so cute. next week she should be just about ready to start attempting to perch. Well that's what everything im finding tells me. Around 9 weeks. does this sound right with everyone?

Hi all! thanks so much for all of the input. I went to go see Evolet yesterday. She came to me. Actually came running/jumping( and a couple trips ) across the counter to me. I couldnt have smiled any wider. kirk says he hadnt seen me that happy since he asked me to marry him.:blush: *giggle* but of course i was dutifully ignored when they came out with the formula. She's getting to big! there's actually enough of her to hold now. I'll put some more pics up on my profile when i get them resized.

Hi danmcq! i will try to do that! i have to get all of the images resized first. I take them with my uncle's heavy duty camera. :whistle: hopefully i will be able to get everything up and everyone can watch her grow!
