  2. Hello Sue welcome to the family glad you found us and we look forward to read more of your posts. To answer your question freeze your food first when you bring it home that way it will kill all bugs/moths, even your bag that you have now freeze and reuse. Have a great day Benny

  4. Hi everyone this is interesting. Bailey our CAG was named after the alcohol yum yum, Shelby S/C was named after the car that I'd never be able to afford, Simon TAG well he was a rescue, Jersey(cockatiel) was named after the movie coyote ugly, Samantha was named after mt wifes nick name Sam, I figured that I would not forget that, starting to have to many birds. Sony/Cher african ringneck parraketts, Kelly (cockatiel) named after the young lady from the pet store, Pickles/kiwi (green Quackers) that suited them. Lucy (cockatiel) from I love Lucy, Beaker (cockatiel) no idea but my wife picked the name. I know I'm missing one here half asleep. Benny

  8. Hello Acappella Leave your windows open and let the air circulate, come Sunday you should be fine, Also be careful with air fresheners and or candles as they are not safe. Good luck As for question #2 put your grey in a room where they will be able to interact with you, they are known as very social birds and want to be included in every thing and also very smart. Benny

  11. Hello Ossy and welcome to the group. Well now you have quite the opportunity, you have a chance to obtain a beautiful amazon who's personality you already know, he is friendly and not a biter, healthy etc. With all the research that you have done on the grey, you are well aware of the life span so why not have them both. They will most likely be great company for each other when you are not around. Not often do we have the opportunity in life to obtain such a great bird free. If the situation is that you think you may not be able to afford him then you would be best off to pass him over to another home where his health and saftey comes first. Parrots can cost you alot of money especially if they become ill, rule of thumb is $2.00 a day for an emergency, avian vets are not cheap. Good luck with your choice.Enjoy Benny
