1:09am in hot Florida. Was 84 today and going to 68 overnight. The same for the rest of the week. Yuck! Went to the park yesterday(Don't worry I'm won't post any photos) and the guys were having a ball. Kept far from the water so I didn't have to dive in for them. Good Night all Joe

If you did not speak or received a PM from her, how would you know what the truth is. If it's a joke, as she said, then why did she leave with such Hostility? Oh I see it's us older members that are out of bounds, and to have her cast doubt on us is ludicrous. Who really knows this woman? Why do we even care about her? She has NO history with us, to forgive her. I don’t think most of us are out of line, but some people don’t respect the thoughts of their friends, and for you its not fair to us. Joe

Adele, If you felt what you have said, and what you said as a joke, your words would fall differently, or are you one of those talented Writers on strike. You have done an unforgivable thing here at this forum. I read you belong to another bird site, so I fell they deserve you much better then we do. You must be a real Star there, at the other site, but here you're a pimple on my ass, that has to go. You know little, if anything about the people here. At least you made me laugh when you wrote how much better you are then us at THE BEST GRAY OR ANY OTHER BIRD SITE ANYWHERE. Only a FOOL, like yourself, can commit such a stupid thing as you did here. Dblhelix. If keeping your bird/birds with full feathered that’s fine with me and anyone else that wants full feathers. You talk about trade offs; well I do what’s BEST for my birds, as I've done with my family of 45 people from me that was created 40 yrs ago. I spend the time with them and ONLY want to see them happy and safe. I had one and only one bird in my life that was not clipped and he is gone from last week. I have spent sleepless nights thinking and hoping he is well. Hour, after hours looking and searching for him. Not for me, but for him. I Love that little brat and will miss him, a lot, but again, as lone as he is safe somewhere I'm good. Both my big guys have and used their suits with the harness but I rather have them free for a little while in their lives. Can you tell me what’s so wrong with that? Have I told you what to do with your bird/birds? When it come to this subject do what you feel best for your own< as you mention as do I, BUT you chose to express yourself to me in your post, when I only expressed my views of MY BIRDS no one else. Jamie, Water is fine. There is a difference with veggies and fruits when cleaning. Most fruits are best peeled, but most veggies can be blanched. If you don't know how to do it, I'll just tell you how I do it. First, get a big bowl and fill it with ice, and add water to it so it becomes ice cold. Bring a pot of water to a heavy boil. Add veggies and let stay about 30 to 40 seconds, and then strain them, add them to the ice bath, till cold. This will keep much longer in the frig also. It's going to be 83 today and it seems nice. It was 64 this morning and cool for a great change. The birds are outside right now in their outdoor cages after we went to the bank and to Dunkin Donuts. They had a big day yesterday, going to the park and then to the flea market where I bought a 6 week old Teil and then went to my moms to show off the new guy. He is ALL yellow with red eyes and so loving. Joe
