THought if its ok for humans is usually ok for birds. I ate a dog biscuit on a bet one time. I didnt bark, scratch myself or lick myself ... Sorry couldnt resist
Tricky, as I havent gotten my baby yet I dont know about clicker training. But could you let us know how it goes. I have seen a book on it a petsmart and was wondering about it myself ..... I would love to know if it works
I found the book the Well Behaved Parrot a good source of info. One part is all about how to get them focused on something else to stop the nipping while teaching the step up command. Good luck, with alot of patience you and Victoria will be fine. Enjoy your new baby
Congrats Spooky and Nikko I really like where the eye is coming thru the comic strip (your not my dog)

Post edited by: miltie, at: 2007/07/15 01:09
Awwww that is so cool. congrats please update on new words. I am living vicariously thru you all. Makes me happy to hear about new steps for all your babies
I recently read to give your birds juice or something occasionally with a syringe to keep them use to it in case you have to give it medicine or supplements. I think it was in the book Parrots for dummies. Good book had lots of info I didnt know....
Hello Joe welcome to the family.... Once you get the grey you go straight to the vet for a wellness check up And reputable breeders should work with you if something is wrong right away ... And I do have to mention the name Paully Walnuts lol you like the Sopranos
