My Grey is a Cag he is only 6 months old I think he still has more weight to go!!!

I've looked on ebay but don't find a scale that comes with a Perch

Hey PPL i went out today looking all around for a scale they cost way to much Price range was $75 to $119. to much for a scale. So should i take out the bowl with mix food and just leave the pellets in the cage or leave them both in there and he will eat them when he likes

My Grey is 5 months old. Everyday when i get home from work at 6pm i take him out and play with him till about 10:30pm when I'm off to bed. He loves to be scratched on his head and loves to flap his wings and fly off around the house. Now if i try to touch his back or his belly he goes crazy and trys to bite me. I don't give up i keep touching him slowly and keep tryin to work with him but he just wont let me touch his back or tail he wants to bite me. My grey is 4 months old and sometimes I can hear him trying to talk it sounds more like a mumble but he loves to whistle now I don't know where he picked up the whistle part because we don't whistle since we was told by the pet store if we teach him to whistle he wont talk. But I have notice while I'm in the room with him he wont say a word now the minute I leave the room its like a big party in there with whistles and mumble talking??? I spend Everyday 2 hours of talking and playing with him I even bought a few cds from Feathered Phonics so when I'm not home he can pick up some words.

I have plenty of patience i wont give up on my grey i always try to hand feed him fruits but he turns his head away now if i offer him a seed or a peanut he will take it :laugh:. I was just gonna try while I'm home just to give him fruit nothing else and if he don't eat it threw out the day i will change it cause i don't want him to lose any weight.

Okay ppl i have another question I have 3 bowls in my cage one is with water the other is with bird food which i got from the pet shop its a mix of seeds etc. and the third bowl is a mix of apples oranges and pears and strawberries and bananas cut up in small chucks. Now my grey wont touch the fruits he will only eat the seeds. Should i only place the one bowl of food in the cage to teach him to eat those fruits. Also do i have to peal the skin off the apples and oranges

okay so I'll stay away from the Strawberries just wanted to make sure on the watermelon before i start feeding my grey

Yeah I cut around the center of the apples and pears and always check for pips. I made a mix today for my grey i added some apples pears and oranges with spinach he loved it it ate almost the whole bowl :laugh: Now i got a question can i give him watermelon Strawberries??? I tryed to give him some bananas but he took a chunk and spit it at me it was funny:woohoo: :laugh:
