Hey Everyone I went today to CVS and bought 100% Pure Aloe Vera Gel which Moisturizing therapy for sunburn, dry, irritated skin & its clear I added some to my Greys feet his feet look better and very shinny:)

Hey gang hows it going its been a while since ive been on. I have a quick question i notice today while playing with my grey that his one foot is peeling like the skin coming off and new skin underneath kinda like a snake the way there skin grews. Is there normal or do i need to take him to a vet to get some kind of cream or something. B)

Yeah Judygram you should try that mix its very easy to cook up and my grey loves it he eats it all i was very surprise to see him enjoy it. Check out Denise website she has a few other mixes and good food for our greys and other's

Good News everyone my Grey is up on his weight that little booger is eating very good His weight was 364Grms then it jumped to 371grms then it went to 375grms Now he is up to 395grms looking good I took him off the seeds and make him fresh veggies everyday and fruits and i ordered this bean mix which i got from http://www.nwscape.com/cgi-bin/nwscape/myparrot.com/storefront?pg=CM&pn=5545&bt=1&action=W Check it out everyone its really great my Casper loves this mix B)

I have a question i know it might sound stupid but i notice alot of birdstores use the word our bird are still weaned does that mean there still being feed by hand and there not ready to go home??

Thanks dblhelix for the info. I'm still looking for someone who has had either bird or maybe both birds that can tell me about them. Are they both great talkers. ETC

I'm Very Interested in getting an Amazon bird now my question is what is the difference between the Yellow Naped Amazon & the Double Yellow Head Amazon. Do they both talk good which is better with kids or people.Can anyone please explain to me the difference.

Thank you dblhelix for the information I've been shopping around and I think I'm going to get a double stacker Cage a pretty big one where they both will have plenty of room. I would like to get another regular cage but I really don't have the room.B)

I have a Grey which is 8 months old I plan on buying a big king cage stainless steal Dimensions: 1.25 " bar spacing 4.5 mm stainless steel bars 28” deep x 42" long x 66" high(cage body 52"). Now i also getting a new parrot which is a Yellow Naped Amazon he is 5 months old still a baby now i would like to have both of my birds in the cage together what steps do i have to take in order for these birds not to fight.

I bought this program from birdtricks.com and this company I tell you there very hard to work with but anyhow they sent me my entire package double I called them up and tryed to send one package back but they told me to keep it so there is no need for me to have two sets of the same things. I really would like him to eat some Harrison Pellets but he wont touch them!!

This weekend I spent making some Vegetables mix for my grey. I bought some cucumber’s butternut squash & kale I cut it up into small slices and he eat some of it but mostly picked on it. I Gave him some sweet Potatoes which I notice he loved I mixed it with some Fruit Blend Flavor pellets by Zupreem. I also mixed up some Mixed Vegetables from Green Giant with some Broccoli Cuts. I also bought some AVI-Cakes Gourmet Bird Food I give him those as treats. I did notice my Grey is alittle picky on what he eats. But he does love to eat his Mix Bird food

Yeah i will start weighting him more I only check his weight once a week. Every saturday. I have tryed to get my grey to eat pellets he wont touch them why is that

The Bird store where i bought my grey they told me to give him crackers with peanutbutter to make him gain weight. But for some reason he doesn't like peanutbutter

I give my grey sometimes out of my plate He eats Yams Chicken Bread cookies with peanut butter

What Kind of vegetables should i gave my grey

I'm alittle worry about my Greys weight when i frist weight him his weight was 374grms then he went to 379 Grms now he droped to 364Grms. I feed him alot of fruits and his Bird mix.

Can someone point me in that thread direction where i can read up on some of those problems before i spend $2,400 on a cage
