The only way to tell for sure what sex you have is to have a DNA test done. I am so happy to hear it is going well for you and it will continue to improve just give it time.

I just received an order from them last week and it didn't have any packing peanuts made from starch in it, it had the air filled bags, hopefully next order will have them. That is a really neat idea that they dissolve in water, the regular styrofoam ones take many many many years to break down in the landfill.

To answer your previous question, Steph, I would not take your bird with you when you go into a pet store, especially if they sell birds, there is too much disease and illness among birds in those situations and your bird could catch something from exposure to them. I wouldn't want to risk it.

I would definitely say take him to the vet if he is not acting normal, they do tend to hide illness and if you have any doubts then err on the side of caution. Let us know what you find out.:huh:
