Well he does do bits of it.He is macking good progress because theses are the words he can say:Woof woof,meow meow,quack quack,hear kittie kitte,wolf whistels.He sings a little bit of his favorite song. LOL greylover i love lovebirds iv allways wanted one but i couldnt find one hear in spain so i got a canary (He's my little baby though)

thanks everyone for you help.The other day when i got him out he was fine then after an hour he started biting me. so i put him on the floor and walked off.Then he follwed me!This plan seams to be working but i hope it just does keep on doing the trick. I dont know what type of other bird on this topic.But i will put my on. I have a little canary called monaleato,he is bright orange and he loves singing and whisteling.He is a little spanish canary.We love him too bits. THANKS for the advice guys and you understand that im not hurting him a tall. The other day i did walk away when he bit me and he followed me like to say sorry so im just egnoring him, sorry or me bad english.

Im getting this feeling that everyone is thinking im smaking him hard but i swear i DON'T smack him hard. It is just a tap on the beack!!!! greylover.

chcio my african grey he keeps on biting us really hard and i smack his beack then he stops.Then when im putting more food in his cage he keeps on going for me again.Anyone got some tips to help me from some him biting.PLEASE I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP. otherwise he is going to hurt one of us. greylover!

I looked up on the internet and it said that you can give them i little bit of salt but not too much. These are what they sould NOT eat. avacardo apple seeds chocolate salt (but they can have a little bit) and htere is some more like menchioned at the top. I was a but worried about if chico can have strayberryes because there is seeds all around them so i havent give him any. sorry about my bad english!

yes thats true.I have a big perch made from bark! for my african grey and he loves scraching his claws (and to be honest i there too sharp.He also loves trying to chew it,and he loves straws and other kind of things.But i think that is a good idea to give them bark and branches of a tree but make sure you get the right info first. Sorry about my spelling,im in a bit of a rush because i have to et chico out and he is talking to him self(he can not talk yet so its a little baby vocie nattaring to himself).

Hi guys.My problem was solved because he has stoped doing it now so chico is fine.I train him not to jump off as well it took a lot af time.Do you think he know's that he would hurt him self if he keeps on doing it?Before i trained him.

Well i had the same problem as you.I just took a little but of sunflower seeds out so he would go on the pellets diet but he wouldn't touch them.So my african grey still has his baby food so i though i would make the pellets like baby food. 1.I put some water with a few pellets and put it in the microwave only for a 1 min and a half. 2.Then i took them out and let them cool for a little bit not a lot because they like there food hot. 3.Then i give 1 to chico and he loved them then i just put them in his dish and he went to them and eat them. After i did that for a few days then i would just put normal pellets in and he would eat them too.So my problem was solved.I hope that will solve your problem like it did for me. Even if your buzz isn't on baby food he will still love them,but all african greys are diffrent.

I tried to put tmy photos on hear of chico but it went on photo album at the top of the page.So if you want to look at them. 1.When you go on the photo album at the bottom of the page it will say quick search. 2.Click on quick search and type in CHICO but not in capitals. 3.Then ther are the photo's thanks sorry about my bad english

well my african grey is eating loads too and he still wants his baby food aswell.Can anyone help please. I heard on the internet that because myn is a baby it needs to eat a lot becuase if they dont they loose wieght.I dont know if there a bit older i dont know why he is eating so much. Can anyone help.

hello babygirl40,Yes i too had the same problem.I have a 3 month old african grey and he has had his wings clipped and he too thinks he can fly and jumpes off his perch.I keep on taking him off his T.stand becuase he jump's off.But it is a problem becuase when we have ower tea he sits and the table with us and he carn't becuase he jumpes off. does anyone hoave any other advice! thanks

wow thats amazing how quick they can fly.I have a 3 month old african grey and he keeps on trying to fly.He croches down and jumps.He is dead funny!!

does anyone have a recipe for home made formula would like to give it a try
