I have a variety of perches in Alfie's cage with different shapes, sizes and materials but I still recently had to have Alfie's nails blunted at the vets. He only had one nail that was a little on the long side but they were all needle sharp. Fortunately my vet was very reasonably priced!1 point

I have those in my birds' cages, but quite honestly they haven't really worked for me. I actually found a bird groomer who makes house calls. Super convenient when you have 13 fids' nails to trim! I always love having someone else be the bad guy! Perhaps there's one in your area.1 point

Hi Timbersmom, I just got back on the site after my password had been refused. I created another one so all good. The concrete nail trimming perch is at the top of the cage. I’m hoping she starts moving around on it more like she used to. Vets want $300 for a nail trim. 🤣1 point
