My grey and eclectus just like the golf ball size wiffles. I just let them have the balls. I get them at Bimart in the sports section. They enjoy tossing them into the air or over the side of the cage and letting me retrieve them!!!!!
Tango is lucky to have you and Jay, Maggie! Thanks for sharing some pictures of her with us. Luckily my fids like to ride in the car and neither gets sick. Ana Grey loves to jabber away!!!
As much as Ana Grey loves to be with me, I watch how she watches the doors open and close and how she cranes her neck to look out the window longingly. I know she would love to fly free not even thinking about where her next meal would come from. I'm sure she believes food just appears. It always has so far!!!!
Sounds like she just wanted some space. I never chase Ana Grey around. I ignore her or just eat or have something that I know she will want. Her curiosity always wins out and she eventually flys over to me for a looksey or a bite of the "good" stuff.
Ana Grey has an old tail feather just ready to come out!!!! It is so hard to just leave it alone!!!! It looks so out of place and I like things to be neat!!!
I spy with my little eye Bernie RAGING AND DRUNK in the snow after his drink at midnight in a local pub with Father Time!
I spy with my little eye a RFE being chased by a Dalmatian.
I close my grey's door from 7:00 pm to morning so that she can sleep. When I am home and not occupied, her cage door is always open so that she can come and go in as she pleases. If I am busy and can't keep an eye on her she is closed in her cage. I am retired so she has a lot of time out of her cage. She enjoys sitting on the door, or on her hanging perches or playstands.
