Karma to you for giving Sampson a loving home. Others have given you some great advice. I look forward to hearing more and perhaps seeing some pictures of Sampson when you have a chance.
I've not had a great 24 hrs. I was up half the night upchuck'n and when I went to get the mail, I slipped on the wet lawn and ended on my arse!! and now I am going to cuddly in my blanky with a cup of chocolate and just feel sorry for myself!!!
I have an eclectus that is a plucker. Some days are good and some are bad. Patience and love. I still have great hopes for Sully's full recovery to a full feathered hottie!!!
Dee, now you can have some closure on why Juno was taken from you. I hope Java is healthy and has a long and full life. God bless Java and all of your family.
Hi Ashley, karma to you for taking in an older grey. Grumpy sounds like wonderful grey. Can't wait to see some pictures and hear more about him. Welcome to the Grey Family!
Ana Grey has a sleeping tent in her cage, always has. She slept in it when she was younger but now very seldom goes in it. She prefers to sleep on her cement perch which is on the backside of her cage up high. I believe they will sleep where they are most personally comfortable.
Some new parents are very over protective. My daughter-in-law and I had a long talk about my birds and how could she really think that I would let my birds go any where near my grandson that would hurt him wasn't speaking very highly of my intelligence. If she wanted to give up a free babysitter then have at it! Needless to say, I am babysitting whenever I want at my house.
Penny so glad to hear Rikki is okay!!! Rikki certainly doesn't blame you for her bad judgment and I hope you don't either. Thanks for reminding me what little mischievous devils these smart greys really are!
Congratulations on your baby girl. I have one older grandson and two older granddaughters and four young grandsons so I truly miss all the cute things you can buy for little girls. Girl stuff is so much more fun!!! Congrats!!!
