Ive just woke up with a raging headache ! Thinks it to do with me going out last night to a big sports award ceremony and drinks being free !Hoping not to do a lot today its just so cold !At some time today am going to give George cage a really good clean but thats after i feel better !Hope you all have a good weekend

Well George is finally showing interest in playing ! I have hung the toys on the outside of his cage and he is now attempting to play with them !When do I attempt to put them inside the cage ! Do I do it bit by bit and slowly towards the door and then inside or do I put them inside the cage opposite where there were on the outside ? I don't wont to scare him now he is showing signs of liking them !

I'm soooooooooo jealous ! We have nothing like that here !

Thanks Erika I did panic big time ! It seemed it was a one off not had feathers like that since only the downie ones ive gotten used to ! It seemed so many all at once and in a pile in one place.I got told the same as you lol hes moulting and he is ! Thankfully i got help and advice from all you wonderful people on here

I live in South of UK so get it quite mild really .Think saw bit of snow for couple of days and that was it last year !! Guess I'm really lucky !

I can recommend these and I know of a member who got one and was so pleased with it .I got my cage from them and there were so helpful on the phone and by e-mail .They seem to be caring and are a real family owned thing . Marie

George came out his cage yesterday seemed normal had some food with us and went back in his cage quite normally .Gave him treats and lots of praise and all seemed ok so at 10-30pm ish i went to bed.Got up this morn and he was ok but semmed bit quiet he is eating and drinking ok but then i went to clean his cage out anf found all this feathers gathered in one place on the floor and on closer inspection found a hole in his feathers on his neck where they had come from !What do i do now ? Heres the feathers i found

Well it Monday today so back to work ! I only work 10-00am to 2-00pm but it seems like all day ! I will then come home spend a peaceful hour with George and then my son gets home so peace shattered. I will then clean out George's cage get evening meal ready and try to relax before starting all over again tomorrow .
