LOL Sterling! Maalik was looking like a pillar of innocense, when he decided to unceremoniously baptize me. It's like he was saying, Who, me???" Usually he flies away when nature calls. But no, not this time.
I think that a facial 'plant' would be worse though.
I was just sitting here reading through the Grey Form posts with Maalik perched on my shoulder, when all of a sudden I felt something warm moving down the front of my shoulder, and into my bra. Yep, you guess it. Warm poop. SO disgusting. Why couldn't it have gone onto the front of my shirt?
Thanks for the present, Maalik. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get changed.
Maalik likes dampened paper towels. If I want to have him go perch somewhere other than on my shoulder I'll give him one. Gives me about 5 minutes of 'alone time' before my little shoulder grey returns.
Of all the sounds that Maalik could choose to imitate, he had to come up with my husband's sneeze. OMG. When my husband sneezes, you would think that a freight train was roaring past your ears.
All day yesterday Maalik practiced and practiced the sound of his sneeze. He doesn't have it down quite yet, but it's just a matter of time.
Mine loves to be plastered against my neck on my shoulder. He prefers my left shoulder for some odd reason. It's funny, seeing that I'm also left handed.
If Maalik's eyes pin over something, or if he gets roudy, then he's moved down to my hand or forearm.
Nice work! I Like how you incorporated the white rocks around the base to help keep the critters out.
I can't wait to get started on my sunroom/aviary project in 2015. In the meantime, can my fids fly over for a play date some time?
