Here is a pic I took of the Moon through my small 6in telescope last Saturday.

I have a 16inch scope as well but that is for deep space work I only use the 6in for the moon shots.

A Celestron 6in reflector.

The big scope can home in a single crater 800 times magnification :blink:

what type of telescope did you use on that? What's the name of the scope?Did you use a moon filter doing that?WOw Im so interested. I spend alot of time outside at night during the summer.I even watch satellites go by.I go on that website Heaven's Above

It was a Coronado PST [Personal Solar Telescope] no filters, on the SUN.

And a 6in Celestron reflector, no filter,on the MOON and both with a G9 Cannon Camera, hand held.

I am going to try the BIG scope this week/end as it looks as if it is going to be clear.

It will take sometime to set up,

If I get some good shots I will post them here!
