Toni Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Hi, Wondering how many of you have the same gender bird as you are and how the relationship is between you? I hear you should get an African Grey the opposite gender as owner how true is that?

Talon Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Our grey is a girl, but we didn't know her gender for the first year and a half. She definitely loves my husband. He spends very little time with her, only lunch and sometimes after dinner because he's not home much. But she seems to like all of us for different reasons. (we have 4 boys and 2 girls in our family) She just seems to get very excited around him.

Guest Monique Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Our Grey is a male. He's the only bird we've ever had sexed and that was only done b/c the breeder did it before we picked him out as a default she does this with all her birds....
