GreyGhost
Hi all, I have 2 CAGs Obama and Zulu I have had about a month now from a local breeder. They are both male clutch mates, I call them the OZ brothers or sometimes the OZ gremlins, lol. They are right at 6 months old. Obama is the picture perfect pet bird and Zulu seems to be in direct competition with the anti christ :cheer: So I get my dose of ying and yang daily. I've been lurking here for a while and decided to join, I have seen some good advice here.

judygram
Hello GreyGhost and welcome to the family, glad you could finally join us and we look forward to hearing more about you, Obama and Zulu. So you have clutch mates but they are as different as day and night, I guess that is better than having two that act the same way, it gives you some variety and I am sure you have some stories to tell. I take that is Obama in the picture included with your post, you are free to add some of Zulu if you like. You will find lots of useful information in our many threads and do ask questions you may have and we will help you in any way we can.

They get along great so far but they are still babies and that could change though I don't think it will. They play together constantly. They have one cage but it is a very huge cage, I can climb into in. I was originally planning for one but Zulu was injured (beak damage from a dog bite) so I decided to take him to, I didn't think his alternatives looked very promising. His beak has grown out and is healing well and the vet says it probably wont be deformed at all. Now that I've had 2 and can't imagine life with just 1. judygram
Double the pleasure, double the fun!! That was very commendable of you to take both of them as I can imagine that the one with the injured beak would not be wanted by most people but their loss is your gain.
