sue09
Hi, I always give Ollie half a grape or a raisin. He does love his grapes, so perhaps try that.
lovethatgrey
Almonds, walnuts, any fruit, unsalted natural rice cake, pine nuts, pumpkin seeds, rice cake, whole wheat toast, pecans, she loves grapes too.
BaxtersMom
A super special treat at our house is popcorn. No salt, no butter. I have an air popper so it's all natural and not fattenting. They never get tired of popcorn and I'd say it's their all time favorite treat.

Raposa
Jenna loves pine nuts, like Chimay But another thing I've tried a couple of times is to take an ear of corn and drill a hole through the middle, and hang it in the cage (I have one of those skewer things for birds you can put fruit and veggies on). Voila, combination foraging treat and toy to tear apart!

Post edited by: Raposa, at: 2009/03/31 21:

Its only for baby birds.

judygram
I have sugar snap peas in my garden ready to eat right now, in fact I had some for dinner last night but the birds didn't care much for them. FYI, sugar snap peas are peas that you eat the pod and all and you pick them before the pea fills out while they are still slim, you can steam or stir fry them and it only takes a few minutes, very good and good for you. GinniKoko1
My Koko loves Pine nuts and mango. She is also fond of blueberries, corn on the cob, carrots but the pine nut is the treat of preference. Problem is I have to slowly dole out or she inhales them
