It's like he is offering you a boquet of flowers and a quite the honor. He is bonding with you well. A sign of love and affection. It can get kind of gross after awhile though:laugh:

My husband's Grey, Caspar, has actually picked me as his 'human'. (It was supposed to be my husband's bird). When he regurgitates in my hand, how do I respond? On the outside, I say "I love you, too" and tell him what a good bird he is and scratch his head. On the inside, I go 'ewww', and have to walk away after 30 seconds. Then I stay away for a couple of hours waiting for his food to digest so there is nothing in crop for him to regurgitate.

That's funny. So...When he does regurgitate, I should accept it as a gift and allow him to place it in my hand or something. I didn't know this. I just said "I love you too Joey". I guess next time I'll try that. Thanks

I wouldn't make a big deal out of it, you really want to discourage it if you can so try to ignore it for the most part as you want him to keep his food in his belly and not be bringing it all back up for you.

OK, so this means love? So what does it mean when they regurgitate and just eat it again? Bingo does it to me all the time, but never actually gives it to me --- Yum, Yum

Marvin does that with Molly all the time. It is just a bird thing I guess. Now that they are spending more time together it seems to be more off ten than normal.
