Twosteph Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 http://www.cheepparrottoysntips.com/ I like some of the ideas, and they aren't to hard. Anyone else try any of these ideas? I am so excited for my little bird to arrive in 4 weeks, I am trying to find ways to keep myself busy. No better way then to make my own toys. ha
LaceyGrey Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Thanks for finding this site! It has lots of fun, cheap, easy ideas. Before long, I'm going to have to build an addition on my home to accomodate all of Lacey's toys! Congrats, Twosteph, on the upcoming arrival of your new family member! Lacey joined my family in June and I cannot imagine life without her! I hate to tell you, but the next 4 weeks until your bird's arrival is going to D R A G on! Might as well make toys!
Twosteph Posted January 8, 2009 Author Posted January 8, 2009 Haha no kidding! I have run out of sites to read about these amazing birds. Already know which cage I am getting, and have close to everything. I'm obviously not getting anything else done, so I might as well keep myself happy and keep my mind on this. I plan on making a perch next, some of the perches on here are amazing
judygram Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Yes some of our members are very handy with making toys and perches and have shared some pictures of what they have made that helps the ones like me who are less crafty. Some of the pvc ones are real works of art in my opinion.
LilosMom Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Thanks for the site Twosteph! I need to make lots of those to keep Lilo busy while I m gone for my vacation.. Congrats on ur new bird by the way!!

Goralka08 Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Wow! I checked the site and it's very cool. I'm definitely bookmarking it for future reference. Thanks a lot for sharing this site.
LilosMom Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I will be gone for 10 days (happy and sad at the sametime) I posted a question regarding leaving my bird while I m on my vacation titled "Going on a vacation without my bird:(". I got a lot of good answers and decided to leave my bird at my mothers place since she works at home.
