Just found this site, registered and thought i'd say hi, I have a Congo Grey, less than 1 year old named Opal.

I am Also Designing a Garden cage/pedestal for Use when a carer is in the garden and wants to let their Grey join them.

Hello Pass135 and welcome to the family, so glad you could join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and Opal.

 

I love the name Opal, is your grey a female or a male, I am assuming it is female by the name.

 

I would be interested in seeing the finished product of this garden cage/pedestal as it would be a useful thing to have when we work outside for a while and we could keep our grey close by for company.

 

You can read thru our many threads for lots of useful information and do not hesitate to ask any and all questions you may have and we will help you in any way we can.

 

If you have some pictures of Opal you would like to share with us we would love to see them.

Have you tried uploading them to a site like photobucket, you can resize them there before loading them to our site?

Hi Pass135- welcome here! If you don't have a Photobucket account you can also open your pictures in Paint and use the Image Stretch/Skew option to resize your pictures and make them smaller. Usually I resize to about 15-20% and this makes them work on the forum.

Thats what I do too, Lyric. It seems much easier than using photobucket or one of the others. I resize mine to 17%

Hi and welcome Pass135! Opal is a pretty name for a grey. I, too, have a female grey!

 

When you use photobucket, there will be 4 codes...use the last code (the IMG Code) after you resize your photo. I think medium size would be appropriate for forums.
