Baby carrots

Does anyone know if baby carrots are sold in the frozen section or are they canned. I can't seem to find them except for in the veggie melody. George really seems to like the baby corn. But can't find them.

I find them frozen, canned and small bags of fresh in our Supermarket. I only buy frozen & fresh for Mika but I do keep 1 can just in case of an emergency.

Maybe my store was out of the frozen. I never thought to look for fresh and i wasn't sure about the canned. I'll look at Wal-Mart. They have everything.

FYI Sassy woulnd't eat carrots. then I was shredding some up for a dish. She ate the Shredded carrots right up.

That is a perfect example of how they may prefer a particular veggie a certain way, Sassy just prefers shredded, just as we as humans have our preferences so do they, glad you found a way she will eat her carrots.

Alcazar and the Zons like the baby ones fresh.I tried cooked and mashed they like fresh. Plus they love the fresh pea pods in a bag from Walmart

Charlie loves the little cubed mixed frozen veg and corn on the cob. He also likes broccoli,carrots in any form Cracker likes broccoli, sweeet corn, cabbage raw but wont eat most other veg.

Toni she might mean those itty bitty ears of corn that you see sometimes pickled or served at some salad bars.

If it is the itty bitty ears of corn like Judy said and you can not find them in the store you can take a big/full size ear of corn and cut them in one inch slices. (I've heard no more than 2 one inch slices per day.) My fids love them but do they make a mess:laugh:

George seems to like the baby corn from the frozen veggies. I did find sone in the can.

I've never offered baby corn to Congo but she does love baby carrots fresh out of the bag. She also likes the cubed ones in the veggie melody along with peas and green beans. I buy this melody frozen. This veggie mix does have corn but little. Congo eats dry corn kernels found in her seed mix which I think is more nutritious. Overall I try to limit her corn intake because corn is not as easily digested as other vegetables are. I offer her more beans than anything else because they offer high calories with actual nutrition (pulses).B)

I give Indy baby corn and she loves it. She actually picks it all off the cob!! very cute to watch! :laugh:
