Alfie is stretching his wings and flapping alot, but not taking off, but when do CAG's begin to fly? (he's 13 weeks old)

You want Alfie to be flighted you must know how to look after flighted birds. It is a heavy responsibility together with happiness beyond what you can imagine.

Hi,

If you decide to clip him it's important that you allow your baby to fly for awhile before you do clip. This will give him balance he needs as he grows.

 

My recommendations would be to clip him when you can. Homes are way too dangerous to allow free flighted Greys. Get a nice tree stand and let he climb around. He will be happy as a climber too..<br><br>Post edited by: CeasarsDad, at: 2007/05/09 16:20
