dhorje
Hi, just wonder how many of you sent your parrots for vaccination? I was with a naturopath/ homeopath yesterday. He was compiling facts and writing about dangers of vaccination on human. In US alone, vaccination had caused autism and other illnesses amongst human babies at an alarming rate. Vaccines kill about 6000 babies yearly which was not reported to protect the pharma drug industry. While Melamine killed less than 10 babies as reported. Currently he is researching treatments against the side effects of vaccination. BTW did you know that vaccines contain heavy metals such as mercury, aluminium and etc plus other rubbish? There are 2 states in US banned the use of such vaccines on human babies. According to my friend, there's no difference between human vaccines and animal vaccines. Luckily, I didn't vaccinate my baby Koko.

Lanibird
Hi there, I have never vaccinated any of my birds, either. Vaccines are scary, that's for sure! It's bad enough when they get sick and need shots! How old is your little Koko? My grey "Lani" just turned 15! :-) Janine aka; Lanibird
NASY
Hi there, I was just about going to ask the same thing. When I got my grey from a vets petstore he told me that I must give Ricco vacctinations. Can somebody more experienced tell us?.
Lyric
I have never vaccinated my birds. I think if your bird is going to be exposed to lots of other unknown birds then perhaps it is a good idea, but if you have only a very few birds and they are not exposed to others I don't see much point. This is just my opinion of course and I'm sure others with more experience or actual avian vets may have another point of view about it.
