Missa818 Posted August 22, 2008 Share Posted August 22, 2008 Hi there. Corissa here from Toledo, Ohio! Been a pet to my Grey Razmataz (or Razzy) for about 6 years now. He is a challenge, but the rewards can be so great. Unfortunately, what brings me to this forum is a nasty bite on the lip, and trying to figure out how to react to him. Anyways, I am excited to find a place that I can share with other owners because Lord knows, only Grey owners can understand what a Grey owner is talking about when it comes to their bird! Greys can be full of surprises can't they, but I cannot relate to the bite since my Josey has yet to really bite me, she has nudged me with her beak but as far as actually biting down on me she hasn't. I count my lucky stars because the day will come that she will. Since you were reading her body language this is a tough nut to crack but some of the other members may have a clue as to what may be going on and be able to shed some light on how to prevent another one. Please read thru the many threads for lots of useful information and do ask any and all questions and we will help you in any way we can. danmcq Posted August 23, 2008 Share Posted August 23, 2008 Welcome Corissa and Razmataz!!! Wow, 6 years, thats a long time. Hopefully the Lip bite was not too severe. That is VERY soft tissue. Did He perhaps just get excited and playfully did that or do you suspect he was mad or wanting something?
