Most Embarrasing Moment

Yesterday we were expecting company for supper and I was making a key lime pie for dessert, Mika was watching all that was happening from his counter perch and getting small pieces of lime to keep him happy.

 

When company was sitting down to dinner, a flutter of feathers in the kitchen and there was Mika sitting in the middle of the pie quite happy to eat the lime from the top.

Did Mika get any of the pie afterwards? Or did you scoop him off, reassure your guests that his feet are clean and eat the pie anyway?
