And kept it! My sister had a parrot steal one right out from her ring. I can't remember if she got it back. It was a several years ago. I'll have to ask her. But I did have a pet steal my diamond from my wedding ring! My toy poodle was extremely excited when I first got home. I was checking my a.m. when she was jumping up nipping at my hand. I felt it! It was gone! I hunted that entire area! She had to swallow it! I followed her for a week to NO AVAIL! Darn dog went from a monetary value of $350 to a couple thousand! I have the most expensive toy poodle walking!

Nothing stolen from me, but a friend of mine had his diamond earring ripped out of his ear by his Rosebreasted Cockatoo and it was never found.

Mine haven't stolen anything but have managed to break a few chains & they always went for my earings,so know having the flock i do i don't wear any jewellery apart from my wedding ring .

Josey has never stolen any of my jewelry but she has damaged a few pairs of my earrings which is why I don't wear them around her anymore, 14k is too expensive to tear up.:pinch:

I read too many stories about birds ruining jewelry, so I don't wear anything, except when going out and I don't handle my birds at all once the jewelry goes on. Prevention is always better than recovery. (Less expensive too )

Hershey has a huge facination with my ring. I thought she was going to rip my finger off trying to get it the other night. I now take it off when I handle her.
