Annettet28
If the breath does not smell like something your Grey recently consumed, it is not normal, as Dave pointed out. No Parrots breath has a foul or pungent odor. The only smell I have noticed from Dayo, is that of Garlic after some Spaghetti or other garlic laden dish. A trip to the vet may be in order. Please keep us posted on this. :-) I noticed my grey's bad breath recently also! But after reading this post, I smelled it again and realized the smell is from the cooked ear of corn I gave to him. Hope this helps!
tarm
So its been a week what did the vet say? Did you take him to the vet? Update ?????
Cheshire Cat
I haven't noticed my bird have bad breath. As said in an earlier post, sometimes you can smell the food on her beak, but her breath itself doesn't smell.

tarm
Wow. I did not think a post that old woudl be up on page one and never bothered to look at the year. I figured it was the typical "had a question, found a form, got the info and left" situation.
