Calvin Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 Hi, I was wandering if any of you know of a reputable breeder in England. I live in Oxford but could travel a reasonable distance. I am looking for a hand raised ACG which had a lot of socialisation and it would be good if it was cuddly tame or/and harness-trained. Do any of you know of such breeder?? Thanks

Post edited by: Calvin, at: 2008/05/02 19:58

Empress Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Can i please have a few PM's with regards to a breeder here in the UK? I live in London, and can drive a bit further away, but would preferre someone who i can get to go to and bond with my baby before we take him/her home. Cheers Kinga
sandra902 Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 i know this does not answer your question, but may i make a plug for parrot rescue? oftentimes you will get a dandy bird and lots of support from caring enthusiasts. just a thought.
judygram Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Yes you may Sandra, a lot of times someone only wants a baby grey but for those who it does not matter a rescue can be the way to go and there are lots of members here who have gone that route and have wonderful companions with their rescues and rehomes, thank you for suggesting it.B)
poppyparrot Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 i know of one in carisle who i got mine of, he is very good, helpful and knows his stuff. I also know one in Newcastle/Northumberland who sells them for a bit more but they are toilet trained and harness trained. I didn't get mine of her but they seemed very good in the shop where you can go and bond with them over a period of time. If anyone wants the numbers for either, PM me whenever and i will sort the numbers out.
lovemyGreys Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Thank you May i just add that i have recommended a very good breeder on numerous occasions, in good faith, after being messed around more than once i shall not personally offer any more recommendations.Im sorry to the genuine UK members who are looking for breeders .
leonidas93 Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 http://shop.parrotcare.com/index.asp i got mine off this breeder and they are about 3 months old. there quite a bit but its reassuring that im paying money for a good, healthy parrot.
