2Girls Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Some more pics of Josie playing outside. She is such a character.
judygram Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Yes she enjoys playing on that foliage, she's having a good time all right, thanks for sharing that with us.
lovemyGreys Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Lovely pictures 2Girls , out of curiosity is Josie clipped ? do you worry about her flying off ?
2Girls Posted April 17, 2008 Author Posted April 17, 2008 We take both Josie and Angie to our Avian Vet to be clipped. He does an amazing job. Never over clips. She can glide down to the ground but cannot take off long distances. I prefer this as it gives them the freedom of playing outside, obviously always with us around. After their outdoor activities, they are so cute ... climbs back into their cages and little eyes shuts down. Must share something with you. When I get home after work either Andre or myself will sweep up under their cages and say "Sis Man, Look at the Mess". A week or so ago on bringing out the broom, Josie looked up and as I approached her cage to sweep said, "Sis Man, Look at the Mess". I could have eaten her up, this is now a daily routine. They are soooooooo clever.
judygram Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Yes they are, very clever and glad they get to enjoy the outdoors and some sunshine, thanks for sharing that with us, I love it.
lovemyGreys Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 That's a great story, mine have started saying " what you doing " everytime i enter the bird room ! Even with a clip they can still gain height im sure you are aware of that & are extra cautious
danmcq Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Wonderful Photos and I love the "sis man" routine. It sounds like you never have a dull moment 2girls. :-)
2Girls Posted April 18, 2008 Author Posted April 18, 2008 Never a dull moment with the 2 of them. I think I come to work to rest. This weekend is big cage clean weekend. Disinfect, scrub, etc. Gosh these little creatures do keep us busy.
Lovelylew Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 2Girls, your pictures are great! Josie looks like she is having so much fun! Thanks for sharing them.
Johnny Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 She looks so happy, two girls. If you didn't know better, you would think she was in Africa on a nice afternoon. You are giving that lucky girl some freedom.

Post edited by: Johnny, at: 2008/04/18 21:13
