OMG!!!! Our new neighbors are such BIG TURKEYS!!!

I cannot believe the 20 or so turkeys that just rented the house around the corner...they're wild...all over the place..on the roof...in the street....just plain...uh...welll...they're such...AHHH....T-U-R-K-E-Y-S!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

No, seriously...I don't know where these guys came from but they disappeared just as quickly as they appeared.

That is something else, Heather, I have never seen wild turkeys around a house like that, must be a different breed of turkey than what we have here. The eastern wild turkey would not be that close to a house, they are a very wary bird. Thanks for capturing this and sharing them with us.

Actually Judy easterns will do it to. We went over to my fathers thanksgiving and he had a bunch in his yard. He lives in the middle of a subdivision in town. Less than 2 years ago it was all farmland so they have nowhere to go. Kinda like the movie over the hedge. Still one cool pic.

The local news here in Southwest Florida was talking about a peacock that was loose in a neighborhood a few months ago...they were talking like it was blood-thirsty or something :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Wow Heather, you must live near the American River? I've seen alot of them over by Folsom lake, and in parts of Rancho Cordova but that's a biggg flock!
