Greys behavior

Good morning

i have a question my Grey has been making a high pitched sound every time he sees me the last few weeks. Also spending more time on bottom of cage with a couple of toys. He is a male and has not wanted to come out with me as much just stay in and play by himself. His appetite and droppings are normal.his weight is the same. Just a high pitch chirp instead of saying words like he used to. Had him for 3 years since a baby. The only thing new I took on a baby Green Cheek Conure who requires a lot of attention.  Could he be jealous?
