Just because I don't know what they're really made out of, inside & out, glue, dye etc. I'd worry whatever it was might make someone sick. I'm a little paranoid like that. But I'm a "better safe than sorry type". That said, I've seen some stuff in Murfchck's pictures that just amaze me. Her huge flock apparently leaves things I'd never dream unscathed.
