Limp Birdy

So Sully is one clever bird! He's started this new thing when he's on my hand and I'm asking him to step up onto something, he will go limp bird and hang on my hand/fingers upside down like a bat. It's adorably funny really, but slightly annoying when you're in a hurry! He'll literally be upside down as I'm resting his back on the perch saying "step up" but he just lies there swinging his head around refusing to stand up totally playful-like. I'll try to get a video of it! It's so funny! Anyone elses feathered friend do this?

Sounds funny! Timber never does that on my finger but he certainly does while hanging in the doorway of his cage. He will swing then roll his neck very quickly.

Alfie will hang off his toys upside down, but not on me. Sounds hilarious! I look forward to the video if you manage to get one!

That is trust :> we have one that sleeps upside down like a bat and one that is just as trusting as Sully he will lay in your hands and it is his own idea.

My greys don't do that but my goffins does. He will be on my hand and just flip himself backwards. When I flip him back up I have to be ready because he will flip back again quickly.

Sophie does do that when she doesnt want to go back to her cage. She is pretty slick with that maneuver Nancy
