Talon
I wanted to share my Grandmother, we call her Mimi. Mimi will be 102 years old Aug. 2. She is extremely healthy, and has the memory & mind that would surpass anyone of us here. Just so alert, and on top of everything. She is a bit tech savvy and can figure things out for herself in whatever she wants to do. I guess I get my independence from her. Her mother & grandmother and great grandmother all lived to be 100 as well....I expect to be around a long time...hopefully!!
Talon
I forgot to add: she came across the United States from out west to the other side by covered wagon, and has also flown on a jet, so she has seen it all!!

katana600
What a sweet grandma moment. I am so glad you have her in your life. I would love to sit with her and hear her stories of how things have changed since she was a child. I know you cherish every moment you have with her. Sean and I were talking tonite, how I grew up with a boiled potato every night.I didn't like it, and refused to eat it, and thats why I give him and Sophie multiple ways of eating a potatoe!
