There is an "Eagle Cam" down here also. I've watched this same pair for several years, raise many eaglets. There are also other "cams" for different birds & animals. I used to watch a terrific one with owls, which were a specialty of mine when I was in Wildlife Rehab. The site was closed because of lack of funding. Just google any animal and if there is a cam for it, you'll find it. Thanks for this.

Thank you for sharing this! Love the eagles. Unfortunately they are not around here. I live in Hawaii and when I visit the mainland, I am just intrigued and any flying bird thats up in the states and not here on the island hahah

Love eagles, if I could own one I would. Okay, I would be happy with just a molted flight feather. But I think that's illegal unless you are a native american. What a bummer.

Living in the NE, it's easy to forget that somewhere at least, it's time for the birds to start nesting. Thanks for the reminder! I've been watching these birds raise their families on this other stream for years. It's so incredible to be able to watch up close like this!

I've been watching the Decorah Eagles cam as well. Last year's brood had such a sad outcome for 2 of the 3 eagles. Just goes to show you how difficult it is for these babies to reach adulthood either alive or in one piece.

The one in Decorah just makes me cringe... because of all the snow! I have to remind myself of the wild birds lined up on the tree branch outside my backdoor waiting for their turn at the feeder. Even when it is single digits they are out there eating and flying around like they don't have a care in the world.

Decorah just posted that the third eaglet from last year's clutch was found electrocuted. So sad and a completely preventable death. That was the second eaglet from this particular clutch which had been electrocuted after landing on an improperly housed electrical line.
