reptoman
We have a baby coming in a couple of months! We will get her in April so we have some time to get everything ready. I am hoping for a female but will know what they are in another week when the DNA results come back. Super excited!! After doing much research I decided on a Timneh. They are more difficult to find but we got lucky and found a great breeder a few hours away. I received the first pictures yesterday and will get new pictures each monday until we go and pick up the baby.

Luvparrots
Love the Timneh. My first grey is a TAG and she is fearless and quite spunky. Ana Grey is a love. Looking forward to traveling your new adventure with you. Watching greys explore the world (new home) is a joy. Have fun!!!

kins2321@yahoo.com
AWESOME! Whats the name for a girl or boy? Nancy
reptoman
No name yet but we did get the DNA results and the one in the pictures is a little girl! They have a boy and a girl and it worked out that the older one hatched on 02/06/15 is the girl.
SRSeedBurners
I'll start off with the name suggestions: Penelope. Sometimes I wish I would have used that name. GreycieMae is such a rotten princess sometimes it would have fit perfect. I'm sure we would have ended up calling her Princess Penelope.
reptoman
My wife is insisting on waiting until we meet her to pick a name but Penelope was one on my list already.
kins2321@yahoo.com
Annabelle ( Bella for short), or Lulu. Of course these are names that I want, but am holding back on! I want a new female puppy and one more bird. Nancy
reptoman
As promised, here are the weekly pictures! I can already see changes in her in just a weeks time. I like the name suggestions so far!
Timbersmom
Thanks for posting! It is fascinating to see them develop so quickly. I am a rehomer, so didn't have a baby. That makes this even more interesting to me.
kins2321@yahoo.com
Me too Timbersmom! Sophie at age two but from a fantastic home that recognized he didn't have alot of time to spend with her. Her daddy remained in contact for as long as I needed him. He was AWESOME! We can live thru baby bella! Oops!!!! I didn't JUST say that did I? reptoman
New pictures! She is really starting to get her feathers in. The pics were much better this time. In focus and nicely positioned
neoow
Zoe is a total cutie. How awesome that you're able to watch her progress so closely and get photos etc. I got Alfie at 11 weeks old and I met him on a few occasions before taking him home but I didn't get any baby photos like what you've got. So it's pretty cool that you've got those to keep too!
Timbersmom
They change so quickly! It's really great to have the photos to keep, as neoow said
katana600
Goodness, I don't know how I missed this thread. She is just the most vulnerable, sweet little wizen little creature. I never saw our Timneh, Miss Gilbert as a hatchling or in her youth. She is a multiple rehomed mature girl, LOL. There is something about looking into those little faces to see the promise and wonder. Looking at her helps soften me to Miss Gilbert as she takes her merry old grey time to adjust and open up to the offer of being our beloved friend.
