BMustee
I have a CAG. I don't think I will ever get a TAG because I like the size and color of the CAGs a lot more. I think my next parrot would be a B&G, Buffon's, or Military macaw.<br><br>Post edited by: BMustee, at: 2007/11/05 15:

susie
hi bmustee my tag is is so uch friendlier than hubby cag lol. at least i can get near him/her i do agree though about the colour. saying that my TAG has a beautiful maroon tail but hubby insists on calling him a pigeon:( i still love him though, hes my baby lol. susie
BMustee
LOL...thats funny susie. There are a lot of people out there that like the TAGs a lot more than the CAGs. I have a second job at a pet store and some people will flock to the CAG babies, and others go right for the TAGs. To tell you the truth, the TAGs sell faster than the CAGs because there just aren't as many out there and people snatch them up when they become available. tafandre
I have owned a 30 something imported wild caught male TAG for ten years now and he's a lot of fun. He gets along fine with everyone, kids, men and women. I wish I knew more about his past. He is not a plucker or a chewer. He has all his flight feathers and is never locked up, he's out 24/7. He does his business in two places and he is very clean. Patience is the key to gaining the trust of an older gray.
Goliath
TAG here. I call him my fearless falcon. The only CAG interaction I had is kind of biased, as I'm not bonded with it so it won't let me play with it like mine will. I do think that the CAGs are prettier though. I'm contemplating a male Eclectus in the not so distant future.

Ronda477
Ok our count is now 22 CAG's 9 TAG's Can't believe the difference!! Hubby and I have thought about within a year or two of breeding them, I wonder if we should go for TAG's or CAG's? Huh! Seems like the TAG's aren't as popular but at the same time from what I have read they are harder to get? Well just thought I would update the count!
