Bubbles on fresh dropping

I only noticed this because Nala is right next to me and when she pooped, when it hit the towel it had bubbles on it. The bubbles popped right away. The color is normal.

 

I read too much into her droppings. My husband tells me I did this with our human children also.

 

However, is this ok?

It might be. Watch the next few and see what they look like and go from there. I know my birds will have a few bubbles once in a while. I have always assumed it was something they ate or drank, since they don't seem to last more than a couple of times.

She is right, bubbles occasionally are of no real concern as it is usually attributed to something they ate but keep an eye on it if it continues.

Birds do not "pass gas" as we do. Sometimes they will as they defecate, but, usually not. Unless,(as others have said), it continues or increases to a large amount, there is nothing to worry about.
