what temp to se a humidifier ?

I usually set mine around 40 but is that to low I can set it higher

That's the lowest humidity level my humidifier goes to, so I use that setting also. I usually bring out my humidifiers when the wall hung hygrometer/temp/weather station is lower than than than 40.
