SRSeedBurners
Posting here is really a reach, but we're trying to find a baby Jardine's somewhere. I guess it's the wrong time of year or they're really dang hard to find. If you've seen one, or heard of one - post up. We're on a couple of wait lists but not looking promising. JeffNOK
I seriously considered getting a Jardines before I got my grey. Two well-recommended aviaries are Old World Aviaries in Texas and The African Queen Aviary in Florida. According to the African Queen Aviary they have Jardines "coming soon". You might consider contacting them. Good luck. Jardines are really wonderful, and I know you have a special place in your heart for them after your experience with Raven. SRSeedBurners
We're siting at the top of the wait list for African Queen Aviary and unfortunately the Old World down in Austin doesn't breed them anymore. I contacted a bunch of breeders and most are giving me the line "we don't breed them any longer". I responded to a couple asking why so many people are not raising Jardine's any longer and couldnt get a good answer. They come close to being the perfect bird IMHO. Grey's, well, not so much haaahaa
JeffNOK
It does seem a shame that fewer people breed Jardines. They seem to have a loyal following among those who have experience with them. I also think they are extremely beautiful. Keep us posted. I would love to hear more about life with a Jardines.
Greywings
I see BirdFarm.com is advertising Jardines but I know nothing about them.
