The other night I offered Klaus a piece of my baked potato, which he started happily chowing down on...

Then he noticed I had a couple of scraps of steak on my plate and tried that out too. It was funny, I think he played with the steak more than ate it, but it's always amusing to see him try new foods...

oh yeh - meat and potatoes are one of Becks favourite things. She has actually swiped meat off my plate before, and not little pieces, then got ugly when I reclaimed it. The guests laughed theirselves onto the floor. Joe was mildly disgusted. All in all it was really funny.

I can relate to that, Josey loves venison and she steals it off my plate also. Steak, chicken and even pork are favorites of hers including the potato and any kind of pasta, rice or noodles.

But the cheese is what really gets her going, just let me take a bag of shred cheddar cheese out of the fridge and she goes nuts for it.

Anything we eat, Hemingway wants to try. He can't stand it if we are eating and he's not invited.

I think he's tried everything from steak to sausage. I always think he should stay away from chicken because it has to be a cousin or something, but he eats it just the same! Ha Ha!

These birds always keep surprising me!

I'm glad you guys chimed in ... I wasn't 100% positive it was ok for him to have steak, but since he played with it more than ate it, I wasn't too concerned...

I figure in the wild greys eat bugs, so meat is our version of bugs. Beckette likes the tip of a chicken wing - she likes it so much that she will take it into her cage, so that no-one will take it from her!!

yep brian has to have some of my food too. his favourite is a piece of pizza crust to chew on or rice in sauce, especially spicy sauces.

he's never had red meat though, i wasn't sure about that one.. but he can have a bite next time, i'm sure he'll be pleased about that
