kave70
Anyone have experience or thoughts about this company? I found a GREAT deal on a cage on Craigslist but am not familiar with the brand. Thoughts? Karen and Sam
CLB
I have 3 HQ cages and have enjoyed them very much. No complaints here.

Sarasota
I've got two of their larger cages in white (you can't get that color on the West Coast anymore, just a grey). I love them and they are easy to clean.
CLB
Mine are called grey but they are a very pale shade...hides all the dust!
kave70
We went and picked it up. Cleaned and sanitized it ( used the vinegar then peroxide after cleaning and using the steamer). Looking forward to setting it up. Thanks for the responses. I'm so glad I asked- what a deal I got!!

kave70
Good for you and your bird, pictures to follow? Let's see if I post the photo correctly ... here it is. Filbert is on the left, and Sam on the right. I was concerned about relocating Sam, but he took to it, immediately! Score!

birdhouse
What a pretty picture! I've had a few HQ cages now. They've all been fine except the smaller one I have for my Quaker. That one just doesn't clean off as well. None of the big ones have been a disappointment at all, though. So hopefully, you'll continue to be happy w/this great deal for many years to come. kave70
Thanks- the only thing I'm not happy with is the latch at the top small door. They will be changed, for sure. Other than that, it looks great, and I love the easier pan cleaning.
CLB
I used a spring latch (like one would use on a rabbit cage) on the upper swinging door. Funny that Shadow had lived in this cage all her life and no one mentioned she could get out! We had to discover that on our own and promptly installed the spring latch. Never had any trouble with the feed doors, just to upper door that had no bowl. Best of luck with you fabulous find!
