Parrot Lady Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Me and Rocky shared our first Cutie (Tangerine with no seeds ) tonight , I was suprised that he was even interested in it but he loved it juice and all and he doesn't like orange juice weird huh , that was the last one so going to have to buy some more tomorrow none of my other birds will touch one but Rocky will eat almost anything he loves food lol
CLB Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 We love cuties! Actually, my girls are a bit spoiled. We received some fresh oranges recently only 2 days off the tree....delicious! Now they probably won't touch a store bought cutie.
Ray P Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Amazons do love their food and will eat anything that is not locked up. When it comes to eating You do have to watch your zons weight as they can get plump.
judygram Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 A little tangerine now and then won't hurt and they are good, too bad they are so small because its a lot more peeling in a container of them than the bigger oranges. But of course they want whatever you are having, if you are eating it then it means naturally its to share with them, suffer the consequences if you don't!
katana600 Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Oh how sweet, no pun intended. There is something special about mealtime shared with an appreciative companion.
